Dudes Day in Putnam County

February 13, 2026

You’ve heard of Girls Night Out, but what about Dudes Day? Grab your ‘bros and get out for an action-packed day of adventure in Putnam County! Kick off the day with speed and a challenge mountain biking on the Meeks Mountain Trails in Hurricane. Wither over 15 miles of trail and a few expert-level features, you are in for a need for speed! Fuel up at Bridge Cafe and Bistro with hearty, delicious and locally sourced dishes in an atmosphere like none other. Keep the competition going with an old-fashioned round of paintball over at Scary Creek Paintball in Scott Depot. Their outdoor, one-of-a-kind course features obstacles and lots of fun. What better way to cool off (and possibly rinse the paint off) than by getting out on the water with Appalachian Boarding Company – stand up paddle boarding or kayaking! Slow down the pace a little by stopping in at The Pallet Bar in Scott Depot for some of the area’s most sought-after craft beers and you’re sure to catch one of their many events including trivia nights, dead night (tribute to Grateful Dead), and a food truck or two. Round out the evening at West Virginia’s largest cigar lounge with a four-hundred square foot walk-through humidor. All this and more in #PutnamWV! Find each destination on this action-packed itinerary for the perfect dudes day in Putnam County below!
